II Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Jaworzno, Poland

Hi! I would like to introduce to you our group from Poland. As you can see, our teacher in this project is Ms Anna Pławecka who teaches us English and ICT. We are now in our second grade with extended English. In our group there are many nice, open and kind people.
We also participate in the social life of our school and city. In our group we’ve got our school students’ leader  - Jan Kośmider, the school chancellor - Aleksandra Balcerzak and an activist from the youth city council - Sebastian Ciołczyk.
Ms Pławecka isn't only a teacher in our school, she is also a person who controls the quality of teaching foreign languages in our city. How about activists in your groups? Respond us asap! :3 JK

The Greek School- 3rd Geniko Lykeio of Ano Liosia

The 3rd Geniko Lykeio of Ano Liosia is a general upper secondary school for students 16 to 18 years old. Students study there for three years. At the last year they prepare for the entrance university exams. From the second year on, students choose a field of study, humanities, science or technological.
The 3rd Geniko Lykeio of Ano liosia is situated in a western suburb of Athens, about 30 minutes from the center of Athens.

Our School

Our school is called "3rd GEL of Ano Liosia" and this is our first year here so we don't know the school very well yet. Unfortunately our school building is old and needs some improvements. There are 220 students and about 25 teachers at school.
We study a variety of subjects such as: political science, ancient greek, greek language and literature, biology, information technology, english , chemistry, physics and maths, physical and religious education. There are also four optional classes in our year: art, ICT, European culture and history and a natural resources course.
As for facilities we have got a basketball and volleyball court and a ping-pong table in our school yard. We have also got a canteen where we can sit and enjoy our snacks. There is a small school library and an IT and science lab. Our school day lasts from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm and at this time we study seven subjects.
We believe that school is a place where students can meet, share opinions and become better people. Our school is a place like that!
